Rosa
A dedicated and experienced practitioner, Rosa has a strong passion for supporting families, children, and adolescents. With her background as a Teacher Aide in both special and mainstream schools and a Support Worker for children and adolescents with various diagnoses and abilities, she brings a wealth of experience to her practice.
Rosa works extensively with individuals on the autism spectrum and with intellectual disabilities and believes in equity for all her clients. She also has a special interest in helping those with anxiety, ADHD and those dealing with trauma. Her friendly and positive approach ensures that her clients feel optimistic throughout their counselling.
Rosa values respect, equity, and integrity in all aspects of her work. She believes in the importance of creating an inclusive and empowering environment where individuals are seen for their strengths.
Utilising person-centred techniques, along with regulation and grounding strategies, Rosa adopts a strengths-based approach to help her clients build resilience and navigate challenges. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Behavioural Science), which complements her practical experience, ensuring that she provides informed, thoughtful, and considerate care to those she supports.
