Caitlin

Caitlin is a dedicated and empathetic provisional psychologist with experience as a support coordinator and care coordinator in Independent Living environments. She is passionate about helping adults and adolescents, with a special interest in personality disorders, schizophrenia and psychosis, trauma and attachment, assessment and diagnosis, and issues related to suicide and self-harm.

Her sessions are conducted in an empathetic and non-judgemental environment to help her participants feel at ease. She employs a curious and considered approach to her participants’ experiences, and uses a range of techniques including, trauma-informed and person-centred techniques, mentalisation-based and psychodynamic approaches, as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She values authenticity and trust in all her relationships with her participants and compassion guides the care she provides. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and is currently a PhD candidate majoring in Psychology.

Caitlin is available to help participants on the northside of Brisbane.
