Erin Piggott

Erin completed an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University in 2019 before furthering her interests in human behaviour by completing an undergraduate degree in Psychological Science at Bond University in 2023. During her time at Griffith, she undertook a community internship in Mexico where she was responsible for leading volunteers and assisting in various psychological interventions at a special school for children.

Erin has worked with young people in the residential youth space and is experienced in utilising trauma informed frameworks. She has a special interest in early intervention, specifically with applying principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis and using positive reinforcement to teach functional skills.

Erin thrives on building rapport with the people she works with to achieve a person-centred approach. She understands the importance of incorporating support networks to create a united community to best value each person and their quality of life/goals.

Outside of work and study, Erin has a love for being outdoors and near the ocean. She balances her workload by keeping active, relaxing by the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
